It’s been a while since the last post where I showed you what’s new at my Etsy store Simply The Studio. And a lot has changed since then! The store has its own website www.simplythestudio.com, where you will find all installation instructions, tips on how to improve the template and the latest updates. The number of templates has multiplied — several times! There were only five in September, there are an incredible sixteen today; and that’s far from the end, because I’m already working on more and I have new ideas every day.
I’m very proud and happy with the way the store is moving — since August we have more than 600 satisfied purchases, a hundred people have added the store to their favourites, and reviews with five stars are only increasing. To be honest, I never expected my templates to be so successful (after all, I’m still a bit new to coding and graphic design). And therefore, from the bottom of my heart, I thank each of you who supported me with the purchase!
Today I’m going to show you four templates that have been added to the store in the last two months — you may like some of them!
A template whose name and colour palette were chosen by Veronika — and the whole template is a bit inspired by her. It’s in a very simple, minimalist and clean vibe, which can be seen in the top menu, the slider with the latest or selected posts, and the modern layout of the articles. Of course, there are elements such as a widget with related posts at the end of the article, own space for new photos on Instagram, or all your favourite widgets in the sidebar, which are carried in the same style as the rest of the template.
The ideal choice for those who want a simple and clean design that will be functional, easy to navigate and practical. Right at the beginning, it draws the reader’s eye to the latest posts and offers a special space for introducing the author and focus of the blog. The left sidebar includes widgets such as the author’s profile, links to social media, popular posts, the search bar, featured post, the archive, and recent pins from Pinterest.
The Buttercup template was created in collaboration with Nora, which you will definitely know thanks to her blog Brinora.sk or her Instagram @norabrinn. Not only did she choose the name and colours for Buttercup, but she also designed the entire layout — from the top menu and slider with posts, through the author’s profile, quick links to top categories, to the latest YouTube videos and popular posts. As always — you can easily change the colors in the template yourself; and adapt the design to your needs and brand.
Daisy was designed by Ivanna Malik (she blogs on ivannamalik.blogspot.com and can be found on Instagram as @ivannamalik_); and since Ivanna and I have a similar style, I was especially looking forward to this collaboration! The template doesn’t miss the top menu, where in addition to links in three levels, you will also find a search bar and icons with social media, a panel for subscribing to the newsletter or an Instagram widget. And you will also receive your own custom logo same as it’s on the demo blog completely free!
Od posledného článku, kde som vám ukázala, čo nové pribudlo na mojom Etsy obchode Simply The Studio, ubehla už nejaká tá chvíľa. A za tú chvíľu sa teda veľa zmenilo! Obchodu pribudla vlastná webstránka www.simplythestudio.com, kde nájdete všetky návody na inštaláciu, tipy, ako vylepšiť šablónu a posledné aktualizácie. Počet šablón sa znásobil — a to hneď niekoľkokrát! V septembri ich bolo len päť, dnes ich je neuveriteľných šestnásť; a to ešte ani zďaleka nie je koniec, pretože už pracujem na ďalších a nápady iba pribúdajú.
Som veľmi hrdá a šťastná, akou cestou sa obchod posúva — od augusta máme viac ako 600 spokojných nákupov, sto ľudí pridalo obchod medzi svoje obľúbené, a recenzie s piatimi hviezdičkami iba pribúdajú. Ak mám byť úprimná, vôbec som nečakala, že moje šablóny zoženú taký úspech (predsa len som v kódovaní a grafickom dizajne stále tak trochu nováčik). A preto z hĺbky srdca ďakujem každému z vás, kto ma podporil kúpou!

Šablóna, ktorej názov i farebnú škálu vybrala Veronika — a celá šablóna je ňou trochu inšpirovaná. Je vo veľmi jednoduchom, minimalistickom a čistom duchu, čo vidieť v hornom menu, kolotoči s najnovšími alebo vybranými príspevkami i modernom rozložení článkov. Samozrejme, nechýbajú prvky ako widget s podobnými príspevkami na konci článku, vlastný priestor na nové fotky na Instagrame či všetky obľúbené widgety v bočnom paneli, ktoré sa nesú v rovnakom štýle ako zvyšok šablóny.

Šablóna Buttercup vznikla v spolupráci s Norou, ktorú určite poznáte vďaka jej blogu Brinora.sk alebo jej Instagramu @norabrinn.
